Novato Man Arrested in Connection to Marin City Shooting
An apartment in Marin City was hit by multiple rounds of gunfire on Dec. 30 when at least one person and a small child were inside.

The Marin County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a second suspect in a shooting into a residence last month.
An apartment on Cole Drive in Marin City was hit by multiple rounds on Dec. 30 around 8:30 a.m., but no one in the residence, including the target of the attack or a small child, was injured, sheriff’s Sgt. Mark Hale said.

Tyrrell Bland, 18, of Vallejo, was arrested Dec. 30 on suspicion of shooting in an inhabited dwelling, threats to terrorize, possession of ammunition, discharging a firearm, committing a felony while out on bail and burglary.
Sheriff’s investigators served search warrants at a residence in the 600 block of Olive Avenue in Novato and the 200 block of Drake Avenue in Marin City on Monday, Hale said.

Terrell Bland Sr., of Novato, was then arrested on suspicion of being a felon in possession of a handgun and ammunition, possession of narcotics, concealing or destroying evidence and being an accessory to a crime, Hale said.
