Novato Teen Cited for Hosting Party Where Minors Consumed Alcohol
Police say the the party had involved alcohol being consumed by minors.

A Novato teen was cited for violating the city’s social host ordinance and providing alcohol to minors at a party Tuesday night, police said Wednesday.
Novato police responded to a party complaint on Emerson Avenue at 10:18 p.m. Tuesday. During the subsequent investigation, officers learned that the party had involved alcohol being consumed by minors.

The host, 17, was cited and released to his father, according to police.
The suspect’s identity is being withheld due to his status as a minor.
