On Thursday, February 27th from 5:30 to 7:00pm at the Novato Youth Center, the community is invited to attend a free workshop to learn how to keep youth safe, smart and responsible on-line.
With youth ages 8 to 18 years spending more time on-line than they do in school or with their parents, and with 75% of youth ages 13 to 17 years having profiles on at least one social networking site, this Workshop gives parents the tools they need to help keep their children educated and safe in the on-line world.
Cost to attend is free and snacks and childcare will be provided. Please RSVP in advance (especially if childcare will be needed) at (415-892-1643, or visit www.novatoyouthcenter to learn more.
