Join physicist, philosopher, and teacher Peter Russell for a delightful
exploration of oneness as the foundation of activism. Program includes gentle yoga, meditation, conversation
with Peter, and earth-friendly potluck snacks.
Peter
Russell is a fellow of the Institute of Noetic Sciences, of The World Business Academy and of The Findhorn Foundation, and an Honorary Member of
The Club of Budapest, with graduate studies in
mathematics, theoretical physics, and computer science. After studying meditation and eastern
philosophy in India, he took the first research post ever offered in Britain on
the psychology of meditation. His early
work on 3-dimensional displays presaged by some twenty years the advent of virtual
reality.
In
1982 he coined the term “global brain” with his 1980s bestseller of the same name in which he predicted the
Internet and the impact it would have.
His other books include The Brain Book, The Creative Manager, The Consciousness Revolution, and Waking Up in Time.
