Pledge a Good Deed in October & Support the Novato Human Needs Center

Umpqua Bank is launching The Good Project and the Novato Human Needs Center will receive a donation if you pledge a good deed (last year we received

$1000). You can also nominate the Center as an awardee in October.

Here’s how it works:

You pledge to do a good deed of any size (at an Umpqua location or on their Facebook Page: www.facebook.com/umpquabank). For each good deed pledged, Umpqua will add money to their Good Deed Fund. Then in November they’ll decide which nonprofits should receive those funds among those nominated.
Here are the details:

•Starting today, visit any of their banks or their Facebook page and

pledge to do a good deed, from dropping off a bag of food at your local

food bank or volunteering at the Center, reading to a child or making a

meal for a neighbor.
•For each pledge, Umpqua will add $10, up to

$50,000, to the Good Deed Fund (and you can follow the progress on the

bank's and the Center's Facebook pages).
•Know someone who embodies

doing good? A dedicated volunteer or someone who makes the community

better? Nominate him or her for a Good Deed Award.
Thanks from all of us at the Center!
