The Sonoma-Martin Area Rail Transit will host a meeting Monday night in Novato to update area residents on areas that will soon be impacted by construction.
Officials with the SMART commuter train system will be at city hall Feb. 24 for an hour beginning at 7 p.m., according to the agency's website.

As part of the ongoing construction project to improve the tracks in preparation for passenger rail service, pre-construction information meetings have been held in a variety of locations along the project corridor in advance of construction.
This meeting will provide an overview of upcoming construction activities in the Novato area north of the Highway 37 Wye.
