Recognize These Guys? Bel Marin Keys Burglary Suspects Caught on Camera
Police believe they may be responsible for other local break-ins, too.
Police are asking for the public's help in tracking down two men who are suspected of breaking into at least one Novato area home to steal valuables.
According to Marin County Sheriff's Sgt. N. Snyder, the burglary happened sometime between 10:30 a.m. and 10:30 p.m. on July 12 at a house in the Bel Marin Keys area of Novato.
"They took gaming consoles and electronics, and fled," Snyder said in a statement released Wednesday.
However, before they left, their images were captured on the resident's home surveillance camera, according to the sergeant. Those images are attached to this report.
"During the same time period, the sheriff’s Department took two more burglary reports in unincorporated Novato," Snyder added. "The loss in those burglaries is similar."
Snyder said the sheriff's office is hoping someone can help identify the two men.
If you recognize them, you're asked to call the Sheriff’s Office at 415-473-7233. To remain anonymous and possibly become eligible for a cash reward, call Bay Area Crime Stoppers at 800-222-TIPS.
