Recently, Suther took home a 2013 Annie Award in Outstanding Achievement for Editorial in an Animated Feature for his work on Disney·Pixar’s 2012 Golden Globe® and Academy Award® -winning feature film, “Brave.” He worked on “Monsters, Inc.”, “FindingNemo,”
“Ratatouille,”and “Up,” and Golden Globe®-winner “Cars.” Suther has said of working at Pixar,
“My favorite moments are when I finally work a scene until I feel like I've made it as funny, exciting, or heartfelt as I can and my editing becomes invisible. I love sitting in the back of a theater and watching other people enjoy our movies.” A Novato resident and parent
of two, Suther’s children have been involved with the Novato Youth
Center programs.
Master of Ceremonies Steve Rempe of Rempe Construction will be there to help us enjoy the wisdom and whimsy of Pixar’s David Suther at this pre-Halloween celebration. Costumes are encouraged.
