Ashok Sundararaman, a seventh grader from Sinaloa Middle School in Novato, recently took second place at Marin County junior-high spelling bee championship held at Marin County Office of Education in San Rafael on Dec 7, 2013.
Ashok attends Sinaloa Middle School in Novato, finished as a runner-up to Miller Creek Middle School’s Myla Gupta.
It will be the second consecutive year for Ashok to compete at the State level which will be held at Miller Creek Middle School on May 3, 2014.
