Story on the old structure hidden on Atherton Ave?

There's an old wooden retail(?) structure located on the left side of Atherton going east from the intersection at Olive Ave. It's on a corner, almost totally overgrown with bushes, not very far from the Atherton's parking lot at freeway 37. Looks like it dates from the 1920s/30s, and might have been a cafe or filling station? Have no idea what it is, or why it's still standing - or any future plans? Maybe you do? Thanks.
