Support Group Starting for Family Members of the Mentally Ill
Bulletin Board: A NAMI support group starting at Novato United Methodist Church

NAMI Marin, ( the National Alliance on Mental Illness, Marin affiliate) announces a new Family Support Group for family members and caregiver friends and partners of loved ones who are living with serious mental illness. This includes, but is not limited to, adults living with symptoms of schizophrenia, depression, bipolar disease and personality disorder whether or not they have a diagnosis. We are not trained to help families who are living with loved ones who have dementia, Alzheimer’s disease or autism; or parents of children and youth under 16, who are exhibiting symptoms of psychosis.
Starting November 5, 2014, meetings will be held on the first and third Wednesdays of the month from 7:00- 8:30 pm., Room 7, Novato United Methodist Church, 1473 South Novato Blvd. Novato.
The Support Group is free of charge. No reservation or appointment is necessary. All are welcome.
