The most happening Open Mic Night in Marin is in The Session Room at the HopMonk Tavern in Novato, every Wednesday. The Session Room is a stellar music venue with a state of the art sound system, lights, a beautiful stage, an audio engineer, and a green room for folks to warm up before their set. Popular local and national bands play at HopMonk, so you can imagine what a thrill it is for anyone to play in this room. The Open Mic goes from 7pm to 11:30pm. Each week a new Feature Act plays from 9pm to 9:30pm. Full Bands are welcome; just make your setup QUICK.
