LINDA FERRO is an enthusiastic songwriter along with being a vocalist, keyboardist, and promoter/producer of local music events. She studied piano and voice privately, and later graduated with Distinction in English focusing on Language Arts/Linguistics from Sonoma State University. The Linda Ferro Band performs original and cover songs: Blues, Funky Pop and Rock. Linda Ferro’s talented band-mates iinclude Mal Tornay (Percussion/Lead Vocals), Chris Badger (Guitar/Vocals), Elmar Kurgpold (Sax/Secondary PercussionVocals), Michael Balazki (Bass) and Michael Curtin (Drums).
The Linda Ferro Band is stoked to have been a 3-time nominee for the North Bay Music Awards, and for the honor of having an original song, “Not Him Again” included on Vol. 1 of Oliver’s Market’s “Real Music” CD Compilation (2012).
