David Thom presents Bluegrass Night!
David Thom, Sonoma County's number 1 bluegrass guy, brings his band Vintage Grass, to the Novato Hopmonk on Saturday, August 2nd! Thom, a former guitarist and lead singer for David Grisman's Bluegrass Experience, fronts this new group that not only writes its own material, but covers classic bluegrass in addition to classic rock acoustic groups like the Eagles, Simon and Garfunkel and more. Tonight, the trio is joined by Ken Owen on the drums (Peter Rowan).Jen Tucker Band is a Santa Rosa based band performing original music, featuring Jen Tucker on guitar and vocals, Kyle Martin on vocals and lead guitar, Jack Sawatzky on stand up bass and Kristen Pearce on vocals and mandolin.
