Walk a Mile to Town---BRILLIANT!!!!

SMART TALK: Let's talk about Train Stations. Why is it that I do not recall being invited to discuss this with the City or Smart? Was there a public meeting on where to put the train station? Why is it going in at Fireman's Fund? Who there benefits--beyond the passengers?  Was there a discussion between the Town Co0uncil and FF executives?  The Mayor perhaps? What do the merchants down town think of putting a people hauler 1 mile or more from their store?  Why isn't it down town? Would it benefit merchants down town? Sales tax?  Would you buy a lattie on your way from the station to your home? Have dinner out? Do we really need a parking lot (that's the plan) at the old Depot instead of a vibrant bustling station?---Please Share Your Opinion!
