$1M Lottery Scratchers Ticket Sold In Oceanside
Another lucky player won $5 million from a Scratchers ticket purchased at the same store late last year.
OCEANSIDE, CA — It's Christmas in June for one lucky lottery player in San Diego County.
Juan Villegas bought a "Merry Multiplier" Scratchers ticket at the CVS Pharmacy at 1980 College Blvd. in Oceanside, the California Lottery announced. The ticket was worth $1 million.
The ticket costs $10 and offers up to 20 chances to win, according to the California Lottery. The top prize is $1 million.

The ticket was purchased at the same CVS where another lucky player won $5 million from a "Year of Fortune" Scratchers ticket. That ticket was sold in November 2023.
