OCEANSIDE, CA — Did you buy a ticket for Tuesday night's MegaMillions lotto drawing? If so, you may be in for a sweet Christmas present. One ticket purchased in Oceanside is worth just shy of $890,000.
The winning ticket matched the first five numbers correctly, but missed the mega number. That one little ball is the difference between $890,000 and the jackpot of $229 million.
The winning ticket was bought at Giant K Market on Crouch Street.

The winning numbers are: 7, 33, 53, 61, 65, and the mega number of 14.
No one won the jackpot, so it rolled over to Friday making the MegaMillions jackpot worth $244 million. Friday's winning numbers are 3, 19, 24, 44, 50, and the mega number is 8. Again, there was no winner, so Tuesday's jackpot is worth an estimated $264 million.
