A North County house fire displaced nine people Wednesday and caused an estimated $50,000 worth of property losses, authorities reported.

VISTA, CA – A North County house fire displaced nine people Wednesday and caused an estimated $50,000 worth of property losses, authorities reported.
The non-injury blaze in the 2100 block of Primrose Avenue in Vista erupted for unknown reasons about 11:30 a.m.
The American Red Cross was called in to help the residents of the damaged home arrange for temporary lodging, sheriff's Sgt. Lon Nguyen said.

The cause of the fire remained under investigation Wednesday afternoon, the sergeant said.
