Weekend closures are scheduled throughout the year to give crews time to safely perform maintenance and work on major railroad construction projects.

Although passenger and freight trains will not operate during the closure, test trains, construction vehicles and equipment may be active along the rail corridor.

Officials urged residents near the tracks to remain alert and reminded the public to cross the tracks only at designated railroad crossings.
