OCEANSIDE, CA — Families can trick-or-treat from decorated vehicles during a free Halloween event next month in Oceanside.
Oceanside Parks & Recreation will host its Halloween Trunk or Treat Oct. 17 at Mance Buchanon Park.
The family-friendly event will feature trick-or-treating from decorated vehicle trunks, inflatables and temporary tattoos. Food and dessert vendors will also be on site, including Dole Whip and shaved ice vendors.
Attendees are encouraged to wear costumes.
Community members can also register to decorate a vehicle and hand out candy as a trunk host. Registration closes Monday, Oct. 12.
Halloween Trunk or Treat will take place from 2 to 5 p.m. Oct. 17 at Mance Buchanon Park at 425 College Blvd.
Trunk hosts must remain at the event from 12:30 p.m. until about 5:30 p.m.
