VISTA, CA — A man died after he was found with traumatic injuries early Wednesday in North County, authorities said.
Deputies responded about 3:15 a.m. to a report of an injured person in the 1400 block of East Vista Way in Vista, according to the San Diego County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies found an adult man suffering from traumatic injuries and began lifesaving measures. He was pronounced dead at the scene despite efforts by deputies and emergency medical personnel.
Sheriff's homicide detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding the man's death and interviewing witnesses. Authorities said the incident appears to be isolated.
The victim's identity was not immediately released.
