Bicyclist Killed In Oceanside, Driver Arrested For Possible DUI
The crash occurred Saturday at Oceanside Boulevard and Beverly Glen Drive. The victim was later pronounced dead.
OCEANSIDE, CA — A bicyclist was struck by a vehicle and killed in Oceanside early Saturday morning, according to the Oceanside Police Department.
The driver was reportedly arrested on suspicion of driving while impaired. The fatal accident occurred just before 2 a.m. at Oceanside Boulevard and Beverly Glen Drive. Based on multiple reports the cyclist was hit by a vehicle that was traveling west on Oceanside boulevard towards College boulevard.
The victim died at the scene and has yet to be identified. Anyone with information is asked to call the Oceanside Police Department at 760-435-4412.
