Body Recovered In The Surf Off Oceanside Harbor Beach

Oceanside Police Officers responded to an ocean rescue of a body in the surf off harbor beach Wednesday morning.

The Oceanside Fire Department began CPR but the man was pronounced deceased at the scene.

OCEANSIDE, CA — On Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at 6:35 AM Oceanside Police Officers responded to an ocean rescue of a body in the surf off harbor beach. When officers arrived they found the reporting party and the male victim on the beach at the waterline near lifeguard tower 14. Officers and a surfer who was a Registered Nurse began CPR until Oceanside Fire Department arrived. Ultimately the victim was pronounced deceased at the scene. The exact cause of death will be determined by the Medical Examiners Office.
