Valley Arts Festival (VAF) is an annual celebration honoring Oceanside’s first peoples—the San Luis Rey Band of Mission Indians, part of the Luiseño nation (Payómkawichum, “People of the West”). Now in its fifth year, VAF highlights over 10,000 years of indigenous history, culture, and contributions, while supporting community education and cultural enrichment. A portion of proceeds benefits the San Luis Rey Mission Indian Foundation.
