The Oceanside United Reformed Church invites the community to its 26th annual Easter services
CARLSBAD, Calif. — Oceanside United Reformed Church will host its annual Easter services on Sunday, April 5 at 10 a.m. and 12:00 noon, at the Army & Navy Academy Chapel, 2549 Ocean St., Carlsbad, 92008, located on the border of Oceanside and Carlsbad.
Easter is a celebratory service with triumphant hymns, praise, prayer, readings, and a message. After the service, guests are invited to enjoy a wide variety of food and drinks as an expression of congregational hospitality.
“Good Friday and Easter invite us to slow down and hear the best news the world has ever received: Jesus Christ gave Himself for our sins and rose again to give new life to all who believe,” said Rev. Dr. Daniel R. Hyde, pastor of Oceanside United Reformed Church since 2000. “Whether you’ve been in church for years, haven’t been in a long time, or are simply curious, we would be honored to welcome you to join us as we remember the cross and celebrate the empty tomb. Our doors and our hearts are open to you.”
The event is free and open to the public. Street parking is available, and the chapel includes a quiet area for families with small children.
