Camp Pendleton Noise Advisory Alert For Feb 5-11; Explosion Booms

Camp Pendleton will be firing high explosive munitions during training drills this week. Explosion "booms" may be heard up to 50 miles away.

OCEANSIDE, CA — Camp Pendleton will be conducting training drills with high-power explosives this week from February 5-11. A Noise Advisory Alert has been issued. Depending on atmospheric conditions, the sounds of explosions “booms” may be amplified and heard up to 50 miles away.

during the hours of 0730-1630, Monday through Friday. After normal business hours (and
weekends), contact the Command Duty Officer at 760-725-5061.
