Hi Caity, It's great to speak with you. Last year you became the youngest surfer to win the Super Girl Surf Pro, which was really incredible.

I hear you've been to a bunch of interesting places since then. Where have you traveled?
I went to Nicaragua and then I went to Costa Rica for this Vans Stab High contest and then I just came back from the Outer Banks.
Did you like surfing at any place better than the others?
I think that surf was better in Nicaragua, but I had a lot of fun in Costa Rica because I was with some of my friends and it was just a lot of fun.
How have you been doing in your other competitions?
I had a competition in Huntington like a month ago that I won. That was before my trip that I just got back from for another contest.
So, this will be your second time competing in the Supergirl Pro, is there anybody in particular that you consider to be your toughest competition?
Definitely, my biggest competition would be Sawyer Lindblad. She's really gnarly.
Now that you've been competing around the world, is there any competition you're really looking forward to doing?
This one, SuperGirl Pro because it's my home break and like 10 minutes away from my house. So I love it.
Do you have a favorite place to surf in Oceanside?
It honestly depends what time of year. Lately I've been surfing north of the pier because it's been really fun. In the summer it gets better because of all the south swells.
How long have you been surfing?
I've been surfing for probably nine years. I'm actually turning 16 in October but some people still print that I'm only 14.
Do you go to high school here in Oceanside or online school?
I do an online program through Coastal Academy.
Any plans for the future?
I don't really think too much ahead, but I would love to keep surfing.
We agree Caity. We agree! All of Oceanside is rooting for you to repeat your win at the Super Girl Pro this year. Best of luck!
