Missing Oceanside Child Found

Update: The Oceanside Police Department said Thursday afternoon that the boy had been found.

OCEANSIDE, CA – The Oceanside Police Department is seeking the public's help Thursday in locating a missing child. Derick, 3, was last seen around 9:30 a.m. Thursday in the 1400 block of W Higgins Street.

Derick may be with his 23-year-old brother Alex, whose whereabouts is also unknown, according to police.

Derick is hispanic and 3 feet tall. He was last seen wearing a gray shirt and blue shorts.

Alex is hispanic, 5 feet 10 inches tall and 170 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing an unknown colored shirt and camouflage print pants.
