Christmas Tree Recycling In Oceanside Runs Through Jan. 15, 2022
Recycle your Christmas Tree Through Jan. 15, 2022 in the City of Oceanside either curbside or drop off at the El Corazon Compost Facility.
OCEANSIDE, CA — The City of Oceanside announced Christmas tree recycling options available to local residents.
Oceanside residents can recycle their Christmas trees curbside until January 15, 2022. Please remove tree stands and decorations before either:
1) Placing your tree next to your green waste bin on your regular collection day.

2) Or cutting your tree in half and placing it in your green waste bin on your regular collection day, with the lid closed.
Waste Management requires that flocked trees be disposed of through normal landfill service. Please cut flocked trees into pieces before being placed in the grey landfill bin, with the lid closed.

Christmas trees placed by the curb are collected in a separate truck by Waste Management, and may not align with the collection times of the other Waste Management carts.
Residents may also drop off trees at the El Corazon Compost Facility (3210 Oceanside Blvd.) during open hours, to be recycled.
