"We struggled with our defense throughout the match and missed more serves than I would like. said Mission Vista Head Volleyball Coach Miriam Gardner." "Mt Carmel served aggressive against us which made our passing a struggle which really affected us in the 2nd set but able to pull ourselves out of the passing rut and eventually play disciplined defense." said Coach Gardner.

"Sydney Stevens (OH) was able to keep consistent hits from the front and back row and teammate Maile Counts (S) did an excellent job mixing up the sets to force their blockers to work hard allowing us to have a 38 kill match which resulted in a team hitting average of 400 which is really good. I am very proud of the girls but I know there is always room for improvement because we know our league is tough."
Mission Vista defeated Mt Carmel 3-1 (25-23, 16-25, 28-26, 25-18)
