Ramona defeats Mission Vista 3 games to 0 in Girls Volleyball
By David A. Willauer Contributing Writer-The Lady Bulldogs of Ramona at 10-3 defeated Lady Timberwolves of Mission Vista in 3 straight sets (25-23, 25-18, 25-18) in a non league volleyball contest that was held at Mission Vista High School.
"This was a tough match for us today. Tough in a way that we did not come out to compete in tonight's match. It showed in our hitting % which was below 200. Above 200 is a decent hitting percentage in a match. I would of liked for us to run our middles more which in the second game they were only set twice. We are definitely more effective when we run our middles. We then set our middles more in the 3rd set but it didn't help much when you start when down by 6. We'll just have to get back in the gym and iron out some things and well be ready for our two day tournament this weekend at the Coastal Classic." said head ladies volleyball coach Miriam Gardner
