In girls field hockey action, the Lady Panthers of Vista High School won their second game in a row as they improve their record to 6-6-2 on goals by Lindsey Courduff, Sophia Gonzalez and Priscilla Guerrero defeated the Lady Knights of San Marcos at 6-9 by a 3-1 score.
The Lady Knights only goal of the game was scored by Sophia Jones and will take on rival Mission Vista on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 while the Lady Panthers of Vista will take on the Lady Grizzlies of Mission Hills in San Marcos.
