Commission: Tri-City Hospital CEO Under Investigation
Tri-City Hospital CEO Larry Anderson reportedly failed to report a trip to Chicago on an ethics disclosure form that appears to have been funded by a trade magazine.

The Union Tribune is reporting that the California Fair Political Practices Commission has opened an investigation into a July trip to Chicago taken by Tri-City Hospital CEO Larry Anderson.
The paper originally spotlighted the trip. According to writer Aaron Burgin, Anderson failed to list the trip on an ethics disclosure forms for 2012. According to the published report, that trip was funded, at least in part, by the trade publication Becker’s Hospital Review.
In August, Anderson did submit amended forms that listed the Chicago visit, according to the paper. But the commission must now determine if there was a violation of state law due the original omission, the U-T wrote.
The hospital is based in Oceanside, at 4002 Vista Way, and serves Carlsbad and Vista, according to its website. It is community owned and operated, according to the site.
