Coroner IDs Oceanside Man Killed In I-15 Rollover Crash
The 19-year-old Oceanside man was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash near Lake Elsinore.
OCEANSIDE, CA — A man killed early Saturday morning in a rollover crash on southbound Interstate 15 between Corona and Lake Elsinore has been identified as a 19-year-old Oceanside man.
Douglas Richards Jr. died at the crash scene south of Cajalco Road just before 1 a.m., according to the Riverside County Sheriff-Coroner's Bureau.
After receiving calls about the crash shortly after 12:30 a.m., California Highway Patrol officers arrived and found an overturned white pickup truck and Richards' body on the right side of the freeway.
