Ages 10-17. This course is geared for the student that wants to experience acting for the first time. We will explore and strengthen tools that every actor uses on stage: Stage orientation, presenting a positive self-image, improvistaion, voice and diction, movement and relaxation techniques, character development and scene work. Please wear Comfortable clothing and flexible shoes (no flip flops). Academy T-Shirt provided. Class culminates in a Showcase performance on the main stage of the Brooks Theatre on Saturday, June 2nd at 5:00pm.
