Acting II

Ages 10-17.

This course includes two levels. 

TRACK 1 is for the actor who has some experience in acting and would like to continue training. Students will study character analysis, voice and diction, scene study and mask work, and movement with a more in depth focus.  Students will also continue improving  their improvisation skills and building ensemble team work. This course will also introduce audition techniques.
TRACK 2 students will advance  to the next level of actor preparation.  Introduction to  Shakespeare, monologues and group scenes will be included for the track two actor.

All Acting II actors will perform in selected scenes and monologues. Please wear Comfortable clothing and flexible shoes (no flip flops). Academy T-Shirt provided.

Class culminates in a Showcase Performance at the Brooks Theatre main stage on June 2nd at 5:00pm.
