Art After Dark Death

The next OMA Art After Dark will scare you to…..Death! Experience dueling costumed graffiti artists battling it out with art on the terrace of the museum and a surprise flash mob that will fill the museum with over 50 zombie dancers!  Get crafty by designing Halloween-inspired masks, and receive creepy nail embellishments from Creative Nail Designs while you wait for a reading of your past lives. Explore the special two-week exhibition Memento Mori: Remember Your Mortality, on view October 15-30 in the Groves gallery. Specially curated to align with the Art After Dark Death event, this juried exhibit will feature artistic interpretations of death and what becomes of us all. Enjoy the haunting brews of Lost Abbey and Aztec craft beer, a wine lounge, U4RIK Vodka, electrified Gano-Café coffee and delicious cuisine. Killer costumes are encouraged for the costume contest, but not mandatory. Prizes include $1,000 in dance lessons from Fred Astaire Dance Studio, OMA swag, massages and more. Be part of the best art party in San Diego County at Art After Dark Death. Tickets are $25 or $20 for members of Oceanside Museum of Art. Call (760) 435.3721 for reservations or get your tickets at the door the night of the event.
