Learn the art of contemporary Zen painting from Rosemary KimBal during the September 13 Artists@Work. Working with the elegance and serenity of a three thousand year old art form, KimBal’s large-scale Asian style brush paintings physically engage the viewer with their expressive and meditative process. KimBal will also design an interactive piece that incorporates multiple viewers during an exquisite corpse style project in which she begins a painting and passes it along for others to make their mark.
Each Artists@Work program offers guests a chance to engage with a different diverse artist each month and get a first-hand look at the creative process. During this creative happy hour, visitors enjoy complimentary appetizers by Bull Taco and an open beer and wine bar featuring Lagunitas craft beer.
