St. Michael's by-the-Sea Episcopal Church, 2775 Carlsbad Boulevard in Carlsbad, is offering a Lenten Quiet Day to the community on Saturday, March 24 from 8:45 am to 12 noon. Fr. Peter Guilianotti, Rector of The Orthodox Church of St. John the Wonderworker, will conduct meditations on "The Lenten Fast: A Hunger for God" from an orthodox perspective.
