OMA | ART AFTER DARK: COME AS YOU AREN’T

Special thank you to our Signature Sponsor:  Beach Terrace Inn

Inspired by the exhibition YOU: Investigating Identity, guests are invited to spend an evening dressed as their own altered identities at Art After Dark: Come As You Aren’t.  Enjoy DJ Danny Massure along with a special performance by The Creepy Creeps, a haunted staircase engineered by David Ghilarducci, a display of movie props and drawings by Neville Page, live art by Mark Richmond and Michael Summers, ZBrush creature projections by artist Paul Davies, body painting demonstrations by Adam Murillo and David Lasher’s furniture lounge. Arrive in your best alter ego for a chance to win individual or group costume prizes awarded by MC Sacita Duffy. No costume? Then transform yourself on-site with the help of body painter Sean Selfridge and the New Village Arts Foundry by designing a mixed media mask and participate in the haunted lanterns project. Experience a special tribute performance to A Nightmare Before Christmas by the Fred Astaire Dance Studio surrounded by décor provided by Eternal Hills Memorial Park Mortuary and Crematorium, Oderlesseye Productions and Oceanside Florist. Enjoy complimentary elixirs by CUBA Beverage Company, Magners Cider, Latitude 33 craft beer with help from Tap That services and BevMo specialty wines. Light appetizers and sweets provided by The Sushi Bus Catering, Breakfast Club Diner California and Lush Coffee & Tea. Food for purchase, with proceeds to benefit OMA, will be provided by Epic Eatz.

Tickets are $20 for OMA members or $30 for nonmembers. Visit oma-online.org or call (760) 435-3721 for reservations, or get your tickets at the door the night of the event. OMA invites guests 21+ to attend Art After Dark.  This event sells out quickly. Reservations are recommended.
