Signs and Symbols Exhibit at OMA

Come see some African-American Quilts from the Collection of Maude Southwell Wahlman at OMA.

The exhibit featuresten quilts from Dr. Whlman and resoresents indigenous African-American art. The quilts boast stripes, bold colors, large designs, asummetru, multiple patterns and more. They are very unique, as they are a combination of African textile ideas and sumbols with American traditions.

Read more about the exhibit here and visit it at OMA Tuesday-Saturday from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. or Sunday from 1-4 p.m. The exhibit runs from Jan. 14-March 18.
