Editor's note: This event is now free. Attendees are encouraged to donate to the charities with the silent auctions and raffles.
We are proud to announce that we will be hosting our first HIGH TEA here at Dr. Watson's Steampunk Odditorium in Oceanside.
This event will include food and beverage service, live music, fortune telling, a silent auction and fashion show (Details below).
Reservations can be made in store or by calling (760)757-6628. Please ask to speak to Kahley or Celeste at Dr. Watsons. Upon payment you will be added to our guest list and will simply need to give your name on the day of the event for access.
INDULGE
A light lunch will include catered luncheon on the walk and in store with tea and beverage service as well as sandwiches, canapes, cakes, cookies and scones.
MUSIC & FASHION
We will be serenaded by the sounds of the ever-entertaining Mad Mazrionettes gypsy jazz band as well as have a fashion show featuring some of our swim and summer apparel that will be modeled by volunteers from Cuties For A Cause.
FORTUNE TELLING
A fortune teller or two will be in attendance to give you a glympse into what your future holds and what your past means.
CHARITY
There will also be a silent art auction where we will be auctioning off the works of young artists from Art Hatch inspired by our Steampunk motif. We will also hold a raffle for a gift item from the store and those contributions from the silent auction, as well as from the raffle will then be donated to The Cuties For A Cause, a non-profit organization who participates in events in order to raise money for various small local charities they choose each year. This year they have chosen to support Art Hatch of Escondido, a scholarship and mentorship program for teenage aspiring artists.
