Falcon 9 Rocket Soars Over Oceanside: Photos Of The Day

OCEANSIDE, CA — Patch reader and Carlsbad resident Abhi Afzalpurkar captured these photos of a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket. The rocket, which carried 22 Starlink satellites, launched from Vandenberg Space Force Base in Santa Barbara County. The pictures were taken in Oceanside.

"The power of the mighty rocket is an awesome sight to behold," Afzalpurkar said.
