Famous Elephant Artist to Give Free Demo May 23 for San Clemente Art Association's Marine Artist Program.
Featured May 23 at the San Clemente Art Supply store at 1531 N. El Camino Real, Alan Nowell will demonstrate his plein air technique.
Alan Nowell is known for his beautiful plein air paintings. But when one of the artists for the Elephants on Parade project had to drop out, he came to the rescue and created “Surpher Elephant”, one of the most popular in the grouping.
He will be doing a free demo of his technique for the San Clemente Art Association on Sat. May 23 at San Clemente Art Supply, 1531North El Camino Real in San Clemente from 3 PM to 5 PM. There is no charge to attend, but reservations are necessary. Please call Chair Sandy Beeler at 949-492-0994
