Get Out: Harry Potter, Iron Mike’s SNCO Lounge, Coal Art Gallery
Your Camp Pendleton Patch guide to weekend happiness.

After last weekend’s busy schedule of superheroes, science fiction and sandcastles, this final weekend in July is a bit more lax. That’s not to say there isn’t stuff to do—we’ve got plenty of events in town and beyond that will satisfy the down-to-earth and the go-getters.
From July 29-31, Camp Pendleton and surrounding cities have some local community events for artists, Harry Potter fanatics and the local health nuts. If you’re ready to get out of the city, take a day trip downtown for some all-day doggie fun.
The Del Mar Fairgrounds boasts a Marley this weekend, so you can get your reggae on after the races. And La Jolla has a film festival that’s for the fashionable only. Enjoy these last days of July!
