Girl Injured In Oceanside Hit-And-Run Crash

Based on preliminary information, the suspect vehicle is believed to be a gray Toyota Camry with front-end damage, police said.

OCEANSIDE, CA — A girl was seriously injured in a hit-and-run crash in Oceanside, authorities said.

The collision was reported around 7:40 p.m. Friday in the area of Douglas Drive and Pala Road, according to the Oceanside Police Department. Officers found a 13-year-old girl who had been struck by a vehicle that fled the scene.

The Oceanside girl, who suffered major injuries, was taken to a hospital via air ambulance, police said. She was in stable condition.
