How Cheesy Is Oceanside? Find Out On National Cheese Lover's Day

OCEANSIDE, CA — If you are like most Americans, cheese is a regular mainstay of your diet. The U.S. ranks second in the world in terms of cheese consumption. But how cheesy is Oceanside in its love for cheddar, gouda and brie?

According to a new report from Lawnstarter, Oceanside is one of the least cheesy cities in California and well below the average across the country. So what's Oceanside beef against cheese?

Oceanside ranked 149 out of 181 cities and was the 6th least cheesy city in California. There was one factor that Oceanside ranked among the highest and that was for QUALITY. Turns out Oceanside may not have the lowest prices or as much access to cheese as many other cities listed in the report, but we're the 25th highest-ranking city when it comes to the quality of cheese. After all, it's about the quality and not the quantity. Right?
