1. Oceanside hosted a visit from the First Lady on Saturday for a roundtable discussion on the health and well-being of veterans and military families. Dr. Biden was joined by military family members, clinic staff, and Camp Pendleton community liaisons at the Steven A. Cohen Military Family Clinic. During her visit, Biden said she "felt such a sense of pride about the effort and that our military... shot down the balloon" referring to the Chinese spy balloon that was brought down by an Air Force jet.
