Friends of the Oceanside Public Library will host guest speaker, local historian and author Richard Crawford.
Crawford will discuss the history of the Trinidad treasure, and the probability of a sunken ship's gold off of the coast.
The event will kick off at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 10 at the Civic Center Library.
