  1. All COASTER service is suspended this weekend for scheduled maintenance of railroad tracks in San Diego County. Coastal rail service will resume on Monday morning but passengers could see trains delayed for up to 15 minutes. A second coastal rail line closure is planned for the weekend of March 25–26. With no replacement bus service available, customers are urged to plan ahead and make alternate travel arrangements. (Patch)

  3. Dave's Hot Chicken is opening a new location in Oceanside today. This will be the fourth location in San Diego County for the popular LA-based spicy fried chicken restaurant chain. "Dave's is known for its limited menu of fried chicken tenders and sandwiches and a couple of sides. Diners can choose between seven preferred heat levels, from 'no spice' to 'reaper.'"
